About LexSalim
What does LexSalim do?
LexSalim is an AI-powered workspace for legal and financial matters. You open a case for each matter, add your documents, and use a dedicated Case Agent to understand what the documents say, organise evidence, build a timeline and prepare drafts. The AI prepares and proposes; you review and decide.
Who can use it?
Individuals handling their own matters, freelancers and small businesses, and legal and accounting professionals who want a structured, source-linked way to work through cases. Professional plans add team members and case-level permissions.
What is the difference between Legal AI and Accountant AI?
They are two modes of the same workspace. Legal AI is for disputes, contracts, correspondence and research. Accountant AI is for invoices, receipts, statements, accounting periods and working papers. Each mode brings its own templates, labels and agent policies.
Does LexSalim replace a solicitor or an accountant?
No. LexSalim provides AI-assisted research and preparation. It is not a law firm or an accountancy practice, does not provide regulated professional advice or representation, and does not guarantee outcomes. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, review the output with a qualified professional.
Using the workspace
How do I create a case?
Choose Legal or Accounting, pick a template (for example a contract dispute or a VAT period), set the jurisdiction, and invite only the people who should see it. Case access is explicit: being in an organisation does not automatically grant access to its cases.
What documents can I upload?
PDFs, images and scans, common office documents and exported email. Files are scanned and encrypted on arrival and stay inside the case they were uploaded to. Scanned pages are converted to searchable text with page references preserved.
How does the AI analysis work?
When you ask, the Case Agent reads the documents in that case and produces summaries, extracted facts, answers or drafts. Each finding references the page, clause or source it relies on, and is marked as proposed until a person confirms it. Analysis happens only on request and is logged in the case timeline.
How do Case Agents work?
Every case has its own agent with access to that case only. It analyses your private documents when you ask, keeps findings and drafts in a review queue, and never sends correspondence or makes professional decisions. A planned capability lets agents research approved public legal sources on a schedule; that is released per jurisdiction after verification.
Privacy, security and availability
How is my data protected?
Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is granted per case, and every upload, view, agent action and approval is recorded in an audit trail. Case content is processed for your case only and is not used to train shared models. Details of hosting, sub-processors and data-processing terms are published with the service documentation; no external certification is claimed.
Where is LexSalim available?
The core workspaces are designed for the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Legal jurisdiction packs and local tax features are planned and will be introduced progressively, after verification, starting with England & Wales and UK VAT. Availability by jurisdiction is confirmed at release and never assumed to cover everything.
What does it cost?
Four plans: Starter (£29 per month), Professional (£79 per month), Practice (£199 per month) and Enterprise (contact sales), billed monthly per workspace in the UK as a recurring subscription. These are total prices: no VAT is added, because THYNKR SYSTEMS LTD is not VAT-registered. USD and CAD price books for the United States and Canada are not yet published and are never converted from GBP. The Free Payroll & Payslip Generator costs £0, forever, with no subscription.
Can I try it?
LexSalim is opening in stages. Choose a plan on the Get started page and register your interest; early-access members are invited by email and can subscribe as soon as the application and Stripe checkout open.
How do I sign in?
Sign-in lives in the LexSalim application and opens with its release. You sign in with a verified email address and a one-time code sent to it; there are no passwords. Organisations can require an authenticator app as a second step. Until the application opens, the Sign in link on this website explains availability.
How can I contact support?
Use the contact page, email [email protected] or call +44 333 011 8207 (UK business hours). Please do not send case documents or financial records through the enquiry form; we will arrange a secure channel if they are needed.
Free payroll and payslips
Is the payslip generator really free? What does it cost?
£0, forever. Payroll calculations, payslip generation and PDF downloads are free for individuals, employers and small businesses. There is no subscription, no checkout and no VAT charge on the free service, and basic payslip generation will not become a paid feature. Reasonable abuse controls may apply, but they are never hidden paid limits.
Which countries does the free payroll service cover?
The United Kingdom is the initial priority and is in development (gross-to-net, PAYE, employee National Insurance, employer payroll information, pension deductions where supported, payslip PDFs). The United States and Canada are planned, each with separately verified rule packs for states, provinces and Québec. Coverage is published per country only once its calculations have been validated.
Is the free payslip generator available now?
Not yet. The generator is not integrated into lexsalim.com today. The page lexsalim.com/free-payslips shows the current status per country, and the help centre explains the intended journey: choose a country, enter employer, employee and pay details, review the figures, preview, generate a PDF and download it.
Does generating a payslip file my payroll with HMRC, the IRS or the CRA?
No. A payslip documents a payment. Reporting and paying tax and contributions (HMRC Real Time Information submissions, IRS deposits and returns, CRA remittances) are separate obligations that the free generator does not perform and does not claim to perform.
What information will the generator need, and what will it never ask for?
Employer and employee names, the pay period and pay date, earnings and agreed deductions, and the identifiers a correct calculation needs, such as a UK tax code. It will never ask for a National Insurance number, Social Security number, Social Insurance number, bank details, real salary records or payroll files, and nothing of that kind should be sent through the contact form or to Lana.
