What is LexSalim?

LexSalim is an AI-powered workspace for legal and financial matters. It organises evidence, reads documents and prepares drafts for you to review. It is not a law firm or an accountancy practice.

Updated 13 October 2026

LexSalim is software for people who have to work through a legal or financial matter: a dispute, a contract, a set of correspondence, an accounting period, a tax return to prepare. It gives each matter its own case workspace, keeps the documents for that matter in an encrypted vault, and provides a Case Agent that reads those documents when you ask and prepares summaries, timelines and drafts for you to check.

Two modes, one workspace

LexSalim has two modes that share the same case model:

  • Legal AI is for disputes, contracts, correspondence and (when released) legal research. Cases carry parties, facts, a jurisdiction and a timeline of events and deadlines.
  • Accountant AI is for invoices, receipts, bank statements, ledgers and accounting periods. Cases carry scope, deadlines and working papers prepared for review.

Each mode brings its own templates, labels and agent policies, but documents, permissions and the review queue work the same way in both.

The three principles

  1. Case-centric. Every matter has its own workspace, evidence vault and timeline. Nothing from one case is visible in another unless you are a member of both.
  2. Source-linked. Every finding the AI produces points back to the page, clause or source it relied on, so you can check it.
  3. Human-reviewed. The AI prepares and proposes. A person reviews, confirms or rejects. Nothing leaves a case without you.

What LexSalim is not

LexSalim is built by THYNKR SYSTEMS LTD and is a software product. It is not a law firm, a solicitors' practice, an accountancy practice or a tax agent, and it does not provide regulated professional advice or represent you. Output produced with AI assistance is a starting point for your own review and, where the matter calls for it, review by a qualified professional. LexSalim never guarantees an outcome.

Where it is available

The core workspaces are designed for the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Jurisdiction-specific features such as legal research packs and tax assistance are planned and will be released per jurisdiction after verification, starting with England & Wales and UK VAT. See Early access and what is available now for the current status.
