01LexSalim is not a law firm

THYNKR SYSTEMS LTD is a software company. LexSalim Legal AI is a preparation and organisation tool. We are not a law firm, we do not employ solicitors or barristers to advise you, we are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Bar Standards Board or any other legal regulator, and we do not hold professional indemnity insurance for legal services. Using the Service does not create a solicitor-client or lawyer-client relationship, and nothing you place in the Service is protected by legal professional privilege by virtue of being in the Service. Review: confirm the privilege statement with counsel, including how privilege over documents already privileged is preserved

02No legal advice

Summaries, findings, timelines, drafts and answers produced by the Service are generated from the documents you provide and, where available, from a curated library of sources. They are information and drafting assistance, not legal advice, and they are not tailored to your circumstances by a qualified person. Before acting on any output, review it yourself and, where the matter has legal consequences, obtain advice from a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction.

03What the Service does not do

The Service does not conduct litigation, exercise rights of audience, prepare or lodge documents for court on your behalf, carry out reserved instrument activities, probate activities, notarial activities or the administration of oaths, or otherwise carry on any reserved legal activity within the meaning of the Legal Services Act 2007 (England and Wales). It does not represent you before any court, tribunal, authority or counterparty, and it does not send correspondence on your behalf. If you are a legal professional, you remain responsible for supervision and for every document you file or send.

04United States and Canada

In the United States, the Service does not practise law in any state and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney; rules on the unauthorised practice of law vary by state. In Canada, the Service does not provide legal services within the meaning of provincial and territorial law-society rules and is not a substitute for a licensed lawyer, paralegal or notary. Review: obtain confirmation for each target US state and Canadian province before marketing Legal AI there, including Quebec notarial and French-language rules

05Deadlines and limitation periods

The Service may propose dates, deadlines and limitation periods from your documents. These are proposals. We do not guarantee that any date is correct or complete, and we are not responsible for missed deadlines. Verify every date against the applicable rules and court orders, and keep your own diary.

06Jurisdiction packs

Legal research across approved sources and jurisdiction-specific templates are planned capabilities, released per jurisdiction after verification and labelled Planned or Early access until then. Until a pack is released for your jurisdiction, the Service works only from your documents and general knowledge and must not be treated as a statement of the law anywhere. See AI Use and Limitations.

07Accuracy

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and can cite a document or source incorrectly. Every finding carries a reference so that you can check the original. Treat unverifiable statements as unverified.

08Urgent matters

If you face an imminent deadline, hearing, arrest, eviction or other urgent legal risk, contact a qualified lawyer or the relevant emergency or advice service directly. The Service is not an emergency resource.
